Wayne Massey is best known for playing the role of of a pop, country superstar performer Johnny Drummond on the American daytime soap opera One Life To Live. Massey is also known for marrying country music singer Charly McClain, with whom he charted four duets between 1985 and 1986. He released eleven singles of his own, but never reached the Top 40 alone.

One Life To Live was from the TV series of the same title where Wayne Massey played the role of Johnny Drummond from 1980-84. It was his only Billboard Hot 100 hit (aside from his 7 US Country chart hits), peaking at #92 on October 18, 1980.
